In the first quarter of 2024, the Health and Fitness category on the Android platform in Costa Rica showcased notable trends across the top five applications. Here’s a closer look at the performance data from Sensor Tower.

EDUS from Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social saw a strong start in January with weekly downloads peaking at 23.3K in the week of January 22. However, downloads declined steadily towards the end of the quarter, with the week of March 25 registering 8.3K downloads. The app's active users followed a similar downward trend, starting at 84.8K in the first week of January and dropping to 71.9K by the last week of March.

Health Tracker by Appsky Hong Kong Limited experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Starting with a modest 1.5K downloads in the first week of January, it surged to an impressive 20.4K downloads in the final week of March. Correspondingly, active users increased from 3.1K to nearly 30K by the end of the quarter.

Me+ Daily Routine Planner by ENERJOY PTE. LTD. showed a decline in both downloads and revenue as the quarter progressed. Weekly downloads saw fluctuations, with a dip in February but recovering to 2.4K by the last week of March. Revenue had minor peaks and troughs, with the highest being $65 in the week of February 19.
